KIAM Points: Join Date: Jun 1, 2012 Status: offline	Will be travelling to Yiwu this month. Read that taxis in Yiwu will pick up other passengers along the way. Just wondering, if taxis in Yiwu are safe? And are there any reliable taxis companies I can contact? Thanks

Hahaha,Yes, i am a local Yiwu person.
It is very common that taxis in Yiwu will pick up other passengers along the way, and they are safe and reliable. If you are the first passenger in the taix, you have the right to ask the driver to refuse the second or the third one.
There are too many visitors and temporary people in yiwu city.
If one taix one passenger, it will take you very long time standing by the road to wait an empty taix.

Taxis is safe in Yiwu if you take real taxi.

But there special rull in Yiwu maybe it's different with other coutry and other city...they always try to take more passager even you have been on the taxi.

however it's ok..if you are not very busy because they only take same way person.

If you go far from yiwu to another city or from shanghai to yiwu,we suggest you to bok a private car for you..it' will be chaper and nice car and more convinient.
