According to a recent archaeological survey, the Great Wall of China ever existed or still existing measures 21,196.18 km (about 13,170 miles), more than twice as long as the originally published in the year of 2009, which is 8,850 km, or 5,500 miles based on the survey of Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644).

However, the South Korea media made fun of this serious survey and said the Great Wall of China could be stretched out and drew back freely like a rubber band and claimed that there was a political purpose behind the survey. It was all because that the Great Wall heritages identified during this survey include those located in Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces of China, once the territory of Koguryo and Bohai state, whose citizens are believed to be Korean’s ancestors by Korean people. The Korea media thought China should exclude the Great Wall heritages located in their ancestors’ territory during the survey! So, what do you think?
