Visiting and staying in monastery in Tibet for a while

A friend of mine would like to visit and stay for a while in a monastery in Tibet.

My friend is female and for now she is living in Greece. She would like to visit Tibet because she would like to gain spiritual strength and relaxation.

Do you have any information or any an idea from where i could find?

Drepung Monastery, Gandan Monastery, Jokhang Temple,Sera Monastery,Tholing Monastery,
Mindroling Monastery,Samye Monastery......
There are so many, it's up to what kind of manastery your friend wants to stay.

I am afraid that staying in the monastery is impossible, never saw anyone did that. But living with nunnery is quiet possible and your friend can stay in hostels in Lhasa at night. There is a nunnery named Ani Tsang Kung Nunnery, which is in the center of the town.
