Hi there,
First time here so excuse if there are any errors plz.I have my fiance in China and we have bought a home there for us.I currently live in Australia but would like to reside with my fiance who is not interested in migrating to the good old OZland lol.Im in the middle of starting a business here but with companies in china. Are there any suggestions in getting an alien residents visa without going through all that red tape or is it just as good having a business visa?

Cheers in advance

If you have a company in China, you can simply apply for a multiple entry Business visa, with one or two year validity. BTW, if yur fiance is a Chinese, you can get married in China then apply for a family visit visa L, the visa can be 1 year in validity.

GUEST67159 China does not have an immigration policy. You can only live in China if you marry a Chinese citizen and apply for an L relative visa (12 months renewable), work for a company registered to employ foreigners and who can provide you with a Z visa which will replaced with a work/residence permit within 30 days, or start your own company (with a VERY large investment). You are not entitled to work in China even if you marry a Chinese citizen,
