One of my friends visited China recently He informed that he went to summer palace & that is very nice. What is summer palace, why it was built?

Summer palace was the palace build for emperors. They could deal with all the works in summers. One exception was empertor Guangxu(Qing). He was fobidened to leave there when Cixi actualy took the power of China.And the last emperor of Ming ,chongzheng, hung himself in summer palace.
