How much do you know about Fenghuang Cheng Hunan?

Hey, I am going to Fenghuang Cheng in May day .I am bringing tents with me . I am wondering if its a good idea to camp? I might try to find a homestay and camp in their yard or something.I am not so sure about the weather too. Like will it be raining a lot. I do not want to get soaked up in the midnight.:)
Anyhow, I do need as much info as possible:) it'll be grateful if you can fill me in:)
