In 2008, SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) leaked a secret for the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony before its formal debut, which angered many Chinese netizens and Beijing Olympic organizing committee.

Danny Boyle, the director of London Olympic Opening Ceremony, knew that it was impossible to keep all secrets about the opening ceremony. Thus, he ‘leaked’ some secrets and details for the London Olympic Opener on his own initiative.

Last night, 10000 participants joined the rehearsal of the London Olympic Opening Ceremony. Danny Boyle begged them to save the surprise. The British audience saved the surprise. Although they talked about the opening ceremony on social network website, they didn’t leak any secret.

Unfortunately, Sina, a famous Chinese website, put up pirate video footage of the London Olympic Opening Ceremony on its website.

GUEST58-36 Kevin,

What a shame! In 2008, SBS was scolded by Chinese people for leaking the footage of Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. But I didn't hear anyone blame Sina for leaking the details of London Olympics Opening Ceremony.
