guestMichael	Hello my name is Michael. I got polish nationality, been living last 5 years in UK so going to apply for single entry tourist visa in London. I'm going to travel to china (tourist purposes) and then to Phillipines. I know that when i'm applying for chinese visa i need to send them a prove of booked accomodation and return flight. However i fly to china to mainland Bejing but my departing("return") flight is from Kong Kong to Phillipines(not china mainland e.g Shanghai) question 1. will it be ok for them and they will give me tourist single entry visa if my departing flight is from Hong Kong? (i will be going from Beijing to HK by train) or i will have to buy flight ticket (departing from china mainland to HK and show them that ticket as evidence that I will leave china) from e.g Beijing to HK question 2. accomodation do I have to show them a prove of every single day of my accomodation or it should be ok if i show them my first 5 days booked in Beijing) after beijing i want to go see shanghai and then hk but got no idea how long i will stay in beijing. And what in case if I would like to use couchsurfing and stay in my friend for few days? question 3. i enter china in 80 days from now can i apply for visa so early? or it will expire before my enter? the good thing is that year ago when i was in cambodia i applied for chinese visa and got 1 in my passport however it been never used (its expired long time ago) so it should be easier to get another one :) regards /Michael

Hi,
1. Your ticket from HK to Philippines is ok for visa application, also you can fill your explaination or travel itinerary into the application form, they will notice that you will go to HK by train.
2. Hotel reservation for first 5 days booked in Beijing is ok too. BTW, it is impossible for an individual traveler to arrange accommodation for the whole trip in advance. Visa officers will take it into consideration. So, don't worry.
3. You'd better apply China visa 50 days early before the departure date.
The copy of your previous China visa is helpful too for application this time.
