 | Hi, I am going to Huaihua city from Guangzhou on May 7. Could anybody give me information regarding train schedule at this date. Are the schedule subject to change? What is the most convenient way to get a train ticket? Should I but the ticket one day before the departure? I also like to know about the cost of sending post package via sea. | Train schedule on May 7 from Guangzhou to Huaihua, Hunan province, usually the schedule will not change without prior notice: N706/N707 Shenzhen Huaihua 19:49 10:15 0d14h26m N702/N703 ShenZhen West Huaihua 14:44 09:50 0d19h06m K64/K65 Guangzhou Guiyang 23:24 13:55 0d14h31m K202/K203 Guangzhou Chongqing 10:30 00:09 0d13h39m K192/K193 Guangzhou Chengdu 15:56 06:00 0d14h04m 5302/5303 ShenZhen West Huaihua 23:54 15:06 0d15h12m 1076/1077 Guangzhou Chongqing 20:50 11:10 0d14h20m 1059/1062 Guangzhou Chongqing 18:48 14:00 0d19h12m The most convenient way to get a train ticket is to book from an agency or hotel. You'll pay extra service charge of about 50 Yuan. Postage via sea is rather cheap in my opinion. That will depends on where you'll send to and the weight of the articles. |

| Hi Catherine, first of all thank you so much for your response. Sorry that I have to ask again, is that mean this N706/N707 will come from Shenzhen and arrive in Guangzhou train station at 19:49? Is it Guangzhou east railway station or the other? And how to said this station in mandarin? I hope I won't find difficulty to find the train when it arrive (you know, language problem), I hope won't miss it. If possible I will buy books which weight about 10 kg and send them to Indonesia. It would be more convenient if I buy them first in Bookstore and go to the post office later, rather than go back and forth to ask the postage. I don't expect the price to be very expensive, so I need to know it first hand and adjust the amount I buy accordingly. Thanks for being so helpful. Best regards, Yandy |

| Hi! Sending parcels to Indonesia is not too expensive but 10 kgs will cost you a fortune for sure. Mail them as printed materials instead of parcels, it would be a lot cheaper. Taking the train it is better to choose those ones that are starting from Guangzhou, otherwise it is not easy to have a seat. When people talk about Guangzhou train station it means the main station. In Mandarin it is Guangzhou huo che zhan. cheers, yan |

| Yeah, I agree with VIATURATI3. You'd better choose the trains depart from Guangzhou, such as K64/K65, or K202/K203. N706/N707 Shenzhen Huaihua 19:49 10:15 0d14h26m yeah that means the train depart from Shenzhen and arrives Guangzhou, then leave Guangzhou station at 19:49. |

| Thanks VIATURATI3, Thanks Catherine. Without your advice I will find great difficulty to get on my way. It's seem K202/K203 is more appropriate, because K64/K65 leaves so late at midnight. | Thanks. I am looking for a hotel which cost around US $ 20, a hotel which not far away from the railway station, preferable a hotel in which I could buy a train ticket. Cheers, Yandy |
