| Importance in inferred as to the care and repairs will be made continuously. The great wall has areas preserved but they are not repairing and the Forbidden City smells of urine continually. If they care about these places they would care better for them... what do you think? In America the Interstate system is supposedly important to us... yet, bridges and roads sometimes are so poorly cared for that they become unsafe for travel... that is what I meant by "which site is more important to the Chinese. |

| MIKESTICE58, great point! some sections of the Great Wall are disappearing and there is no protection so far. But it is really a shame of Chinese if the Forbidden City smells of urine as you said. I have read some reviews by foreign visitors, some of them has bad impression to Chinese tourist sites. Management is important. |
