HEEHAW Points: Join Date: Sep 5, 2012 Status: Offline	If you are smoking, it is xiyan. If something else is smoking, it is mao yan. 我开始吸烟了。 Wŏ kāishǐ xīyān le. I have started smoking. 锅开始冒烟了。 Guō kāishǐ màoyān le. The pot started smoking. But what happens if you want to say "I started smoking the pot"?
