high speed internet in chengdu?

I'm planning on spending a year in China. I think I'd really like it to be in Chengdu. Keeping in touch with people from home would be really easy if I had high speed internet access at home. Does such a thing exist there? Thanks for any insights!

Yes you can easily find an apartment with broadband Internet access in chengdu. It has been commonplace in most big cities of China.

Yes.. u can find ADSL without problems!
