Train travel in Southern china
Sep 28, 2012 23:27
guestSuchitra Hi, I would like to take my elderly mother on a scenic train journey through Southern China in October. My mother has expressed desire to see the beautiful scenery of China. I live in HK, so hoping for HK - Nanning - Kunming and back. Or any other suggestions are welcome.
Is this possible? feasible with an elderly person who cannot walk far and will be using a wheelchair for the most part? Looking for sleeper trains with a 2 person cabin and toilet facilities as she will have trouble using shared facilities. Thanks in advance.

GUEST4689 Hey,

I am afraid that the trains can not meet your requirements. Usually, there are four berths in a soft sleeper and six berths in a hard sleeper. There is no sleeper for just 2 persons. By the way, the toilets are shared by all the people in the carriage.

Considering of your situation, flight might be your choice.
