I am travelling to Shanxi Province fairly soon. Would it be possible at this time of year to visit Wutaishan?

The best time to go there is in summer. If you go there soon, I suggest you bring thick clothes. If you want to appreciate the sunrise, better rent thick coat at the top of the mountain.
