2012 Fragrant Hills Red Leaf Festival held from Oct. 12 to Nov. 11, 2012

Last Friday, 24th Fragrant Hills Red Leaf Festival was unveiled. It will be held from Oct. 12 to Nov. 11, 2012, which lasts for 31 days.

Well, transportation is a serious issue, especially during the peak seasons. This year, Beijing Bus Corp. has taken good measure to deal with the traffic pressure. It is said that another 120 public buses will be distributed to 11 bus lines which passes by Fragrant Hills. During the peak season, 500 buses will be added to increase the transportation capacity.

Here are some bus lines:

No.1 Take subway line 1 to Gucheng Station and then transfer No.318 bus to Fragrant Hills
No.2 Take subway line 2 to Jishuitan Station and then transfer No.331
No.3 Take No.714 bus at Fuchengmen Station and get off at Fragrant Hills
No.4 take subway line 4 to Beijing Zoo and then change No. 360
No.5 Take No.696 bus at Yuanmingyuan Palace and get off at Fragrant Hills
No.6 Take Te 5 at Beigongmen Station of Summer Palace
No.7 Take subway line 2/line 4 to Xizhimen Station and then change No.360 or 563 to Fragrant Hills
No.8
No.9 take subway line 4 or line 10 to Haidian Huangzhuang Station and then change No.630
