| Hello all, I am a grad student at the University of Utah in the United States. I will be finished with school there soon and would like to find a job in China. A little bit about myself is will be getting a M.S in Biotech, I already have been to China and speak Chinese to some degree able to talk at high level, not quite fluent yet. I studied Chinese language in china for about one year in 2009. While I was there I picked up some part-time English teaching jobs. My focus is DNA and cell culture. I''m also working with RNA to proteins. I have written papers about fat cell cuture, AKA methods of reduction of fat cell build up. I would like to find a research or perhaps teaching/research spot at a good University or company. When I was in china I noticed most foreigners were just English teachers not too many other jobs in china other than that. I would like to find a job with decent pay as well. 16,000 RMB per month or higher. I say this because in the States I would make 70,000 US plus a year. It's ok if I make less than in the States I understand this, however I should be making more than a English teacher which is around 5,000-12,000 RMB a month. I also have field experience working in a lab here in the States. I have also written sever papers, and would be glad to disguss my work and projects. What should be my next step? Should I contact Universities and tell them I am interested in working with them? I need some help. Thanks so much! |
