things keep changing in Macao

guestJosh I would like to know why the Macao Exist and Entry do change their regulations without any prior info. I am holding a Gh passport and I have been in Macao on more than three occasions.My last time, I was asked to declare some physical cash of about 5000HK$. There wasn't any update of any info anywhere.. bTW I need to have visa upon arrival at the ferry / port.it's always given tho.

GUESTAMBER Do you get visa on arrival in such situation? I know that they want some pocket money but no actual amount. May I know how long are you going to stay in Macao so they want 5000HK$?

I've been to Macau 6-7 times. No questions about my financial status. I have traveled to Macau from Zhuhai.
