My husband and I are going back to China for honeymoon at the end of Dec, it will be really cold at the time. Is it ok to go to "jiu zhai gou" or yun nan "lijiang"?

Lijiang is ok. The average temperature is around 7 centigrade degrees. But temperature varies greatly between day and night. Bring some thick coats when you get there in December. By the way, you may visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain when you get there.

Well, you can go to Jiuzhaigou in December. The scenery is totally different from that in autumn. The best time to visit Jiuzhaigou is from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15, generally speaking. But it is ok for you to go there if you want to explore the vally in winter. Also, thick coats are needed.
