China in August

Hi,
I would like to go to China next year, but I can go only during July or August. What place would you recommend? I have been already in Beijing, Shanghai, river Li, Xian, Suzhou and Hangzhou. I prefer cultural relicts, historical places, local culture and local food. Thank you very much.

GUEST6589 If you like seafood and beaches, you may go to Qingdao or Dalian. Otherwise, you can go to Dali or Lijiang to explore the the minorities' culture.

Dali and Lijiang are both in Yunnan Province. You can visit Chengdu or Chongqing too. But I am afraid it is too hot in these two cities during July and August.

Thanks. I realised my stupid question too late :-).
I would prefer Yunnan, of course, but I am bit scared of rainy season. If there, I would like to go to Shangri La.
