Kunming to Stone Forest question

Hi all,

I'm stopping off in Kunming for one night and was wondering if it would be possible to do a short visit of the Stone Forest in just a morning? If I was travelling by hire car say. My flight out is at 14:00.

GUEST5553 I am afraid that you may not make it. It takes about 1 hour from the downtown area to Stone Forest. So, you need to spend at least 2 hours on the way. Your flight takes off at 14:00. I think your time is too tight.

I did think it would be cutting it very fine. It would be a shame to miss, though i'm sure there will be plenty for me to see in Kunming in my short time there.
