Shanghai to Wuhan advice please

DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: offline	Next year I will change my usual flight in to HK and arrive in Shanghai. I need to get myself plus huge amounts of luggage to Wuhan as soon as possible. My lonely planet guide says there is a bus from the airport to the train station (no. 5?) and I believe there is a fast train to Wuhan. Can anyone update me please

Dave,

I checked and found that there was only one K train departing from Shanghai Railway Station to Wuhan. I suggest you take high speed trains. There are high speed trains from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Wuhan. You can take airport shuttle bus line 1 from Pudong Airport to T2 of Hongqiao Airport. Then follow the signs and walk for about 10 minutes to Hongqiao Railway Station or just take subway line 2 there, get off at the Hongqiao railway station and then walk 50 meters to reach the station.
