When is the best time to visit Chengdu ? Does
it get very cold in the winter ? or too hot in the
summer ?

Yes too hot in Summer time. March April Oct are nice.

In Chengdu, summer is hot and humid but bearable. winter is not too cold, guess the lowest temperature is between -5C and -10C. The climate is pretty good in the cities of China.
