General info: End of Jan 06 would be the Chinese new year time, and Beijing is relatively cold in Jan, might even snow a bit.

Herebelow is my suggestion:

D1: The forbidden City, come out from the back entrance, cross the street, you get into Jingshan Park where you could take a view of the entire Palace.

D2. Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven

D3 The great wall

D4 Temple of the Earth ( Di Tan) fest to experience Beijing culture. It happens only during the Chinese new year.

D5 Hutong tour, old beijing Alley, old courtyards of Beijing.

D6 Shopping day, Xiushui market, pearl market, bird market if you are interested.

There are many museums in Beijing too, if you are interested, you could go to visit them.
