In Northern Zhejiang province, there are quite a few of water cities and towns like this and they are much better than Venice , Italy in natural environment and culture legacy. Town of 三北 is one of them. It is under Ningbo jurisdictions. It is a gorgeous coastal city. It is the origin of one of main streams of Chinese civilization, i.e. Hemudu Culture. Two thousand years ago, Emperor Qing visited this area and were amazed by its glamour. He selected 3,000 excellent boys and girls in this town and sent them off to Japan under the lead of Xu, Fu. Since then , oriental civilization have lightened this barbaric and ignorant place, Japan.

GUEST24212 I've visited WUZHEN in northern zhejiang privince - it looks very similar to city in the photos.
