guest24212 I see a lot of Chinese citizens buying Real Estate properties in the USA. How do they transfer funds?

the main channel they bring the cash with them to USA, another by secret channel. Canada Customs always impose fine on them

With homes selling for an average price of $250,000, are you suggesting they carry that much with them on the airplane?

yes, that is right. each person is allowed to bring USD50000 each year. They always have ways to do so.
