I'm coming to work in Dongguan, China and want to know as an expat from UK do I need pay any local tax's or will these be paid by my company.

Yes, the individual income tax is a must. I am not sure that if they are required to pay extra taxes. I heard that many companies paid the taxes for their foreign employees.

Personally, I think you should negotiate with your company on this issue.
