Transport from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou

Dear friends,

I will be traveling from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou this Dec 2013.

Understand that the bus from Xinnanmen to Jiuzhaigou is CNY150 per person. Could someone advise how must it costs to charter a car for 7 or 11 persons from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. Also, could I charter a car for the return trip and how much.

GUEST66789 I suggest you take the regular bus from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. It is really expensive to charter a car to visit Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu. A round trip by a taxi (5 people) costs around CNY 1500. A round trip by a MPV (8 people) costs CNY 2200 to 2600.

I am planned to arrive Chengdu on Day One and take bus from Chengdu, Xinnanmen Station to Jiuzhaigou on Day Two. Will be able to get bus ticket for Day Two traveling. I understand that the bus ticket must be purchase in advance. Thanks
