GUEST92924 Thank you Jimmy for having open mind and debate. Closed mind ends debate quickly.

EVERYTHING they can get!

Ok, I got it. To me, both sides have to contribute what they can in order to maintain the relationship. If one side just does whatever he can but the other side doesn't do anything, I think such a relatioship won't last too long.

GUEST76208 Agreed. Some people just like to always be sour and look for bad things. We feel sorry for them.

ITSERIC2013,

I don't know if it is written by a Chinese. But it has the same meaning with this sentence "你若不离不弃,我必生死相依".

GUESTBUDDY I believe the whole sentence was meaningless, written by someone who was translating a Chinese sentence into English but did a very poor job.

GUEST46187 Bobert, kind of I agree with you, but my main concern is that this is non-scientific statement, just moment feeling or emotion. At University of Toronto, there is a course called "Love and other emotion", which consider love is a syndrom, and the course is to analyze this syndrom and its consequence.

GUEST46187 I could never make such a promise, nor could ask my partner to make such a promise. It is unscientific, unfair, inequal, and unlasting. Kind of cheating for one moment pleasure. This kind of promise is useless. Every day how many such promises are made, and almost the same number of such promises are broken.
