| I am pretty sure this is in china. The pictures I remember show a lush green flat valley with these huge rock oblisks sticking up. They look like very large versions of sea stacks and rise right up out of the ground. Do you know where this is? Thanks! |

| Thank you for the suggestion but I do not think this is it. It is a huge flat valley where there are agricultural fields, and the rocks are not joined together but separate obelisks seperated by hundreds of yards. Thanks! |

| I am pretty sure that the view you had described appears in the south in China all to nothing,in particular,Yunnan,Guangxi province .Maybe it is KARST,like Stone Forest in Kunming.They don't look like very high,but you it is very difficult to climb. |

| It could be Yangshuo, very close to Guilin and famous on the backpackers circuit. Here's a pic of Yangshuo... |
