| I have been ill with a DVT and my students--6th graders--came to my home for a visit. I was glad to greet them but my home was a mess. I had not cleaned since the DVT onset. I would like to know how does a teacher thank his students for a home visit when the teacher has been ill. Any replies will be welcomed. |

They know clearly that you are hospitable even when you are ill. There may be some cultural difference, or to be better, they should learn to make an appointment before visiting. |

| Thanks for the reply... actually they did let me know but I was away for a time and could not touch my cleaning chores... But, it is so rare thaat I get any visitors I tried to make it "look" better. It just wasn't sufficient. |
