Nice shot! I have the same lens like you but my camera is D90. In 2011, I went to Xianyang for the chrysanthemum exhibition. I took some photos with my D90.

Thank you. I am just an amateur. I tried to improve my shooting skill. But it is too difficult.

you are so humble. Actually, this can only be a hobby at China, if you want to make a living by taking photos, that is so difficult.

David,

We have been into an era of Digital Photography. Everyone can be a photographer. Compared with the past decades, we needn't enter the darkroom to develop films. It's easy to take pictures with DSLR or digital camera.

I never think of taking it as my profession. I am just an enthusiast. Originally, I used a small digital camera nikon P5100. Later, I bought D90 kit and aimed to improving my shooting skill. Unfortunately, the DSLR is totally different from the digital camera. I can’t use it as skillfully as I used P5100. I bought some books but it was difficult for me to put what I read into practice. Currently, I am practicing taking pictures in Manual mode.

Personally, I prefer to shoot pictures of landscape and plants. I seldom shoot portrait pictures. By the way, I don’t retouch my photos too much in Photoshop. In my view, the camera should reflect what you see vividly. That’s why I don’t retouch my photos too much.

However, the camera is just a tool for some people to create photos. They can turn an ordinary girl into an angel.

You are right. The real masters are those who don't treat skills top importance. They care more on social problems and livelihood issues.
