You probably have to get Chinese visa ahead of travel...or you may travel to HongKong for Chinese visa instead of applying visa in your local embassy

GUEST27179 You can go to the nearest Chinese Embassy website and they will list the details on how to apply for your Chinese visa. Just make a note that you will have to apply for your visa no further than 3 months out...as from the date you visa is issued you can only enter within 3 months. So if you apply for your visa in March- it will expire prior to your travel dates and will be no good.

It's quite simple and will take up to 4 days to complete- though for a small fee you can get it in 2-3 business days/ same day service (IF they are offered at your location)

If you are planning your trip through a travel agent they should be able to process your visa for you- but this depends on what kind of services they offer. There are also many other visa agencies out there that will process it for you, though they are kind of expensive.

Basically it's- fill out the form and attach picture- wait in line- submit forms and answer a few short questions- pay fee- your done....then return on the day of your pickup which is indicated on the day you submit your application.

Visa on arrival mean your visa can be obtained directly when you are landed at the airports, Visa on Arrival is given to a person who has visited Business, Tourist, Social purpose. If you plan to stay longer than you need to mention your intention to stay longer. Visa on Arrival can be extended for another 30 days.

Thanking you
