I'm an American, experienced China traveler who speaks, reads and writes Mandarin Chinese. I've been all over China, but never to Mt. Wutai, the Buddhist Mountain home of Manjushri Bodhisattva in Shanxi Province. I'm going to go there from Beijing on around July 22 or so. I'm quite knowledgeable about Chinese culture and Buddhism/Taoism. If anyone would like to travel with my daughter (age 18) and me we can share taxi expenses and I can share knowledge. Plan to go to the Yungang Grottos, Little Heng Shan (famous Taoist Sacred Mountain), Wutai Shan, and make a few other stops before going to Pingyao, the traditional Chinese city. This is NOT a commercial offer or request, just an offer to travel with someone if they are interested in sharing taxi costs and have a genuine interest in some great Chinese tourism. Andyf.
