I have called the consulate multiple times. I tried to find the answer to my question online, but I have failed in my attempts. My question is, Do I have to book the hotel for my entire stay in China? What if I only show a reservation for 1 week or 2 weeks, but I'm actually staying in China for a bit longer? I am sorry if I am re-posting this question. Thanks again.

GUEST15333	Since they don't answer the phone, return calls or return on line questions, you need to go there in person. I get all my questions answered at my local Chinese consulate, stand in line and wait my turn. Any answer you get in this forum may not be accurate.

GUESTFRED	Hi, hotel bookings for the entire stay is not necessary, you can provide that of 1 or 2 weeks in China. It is ok to apply visa with that. But better prepare a travel itinerary in case of need.
