L visa into X visa

guestSutton	Hi I want to know if it's possible to apply for an L visa then later extend it until I can apply for X visa with a university's winter semester that strts in June? Do I have to come back to my country or go to HOng Kong for this? I will be staying in Nanjing, where I used to live before. Im from Nepal. and I have been in china before for 4 years on X visa. I have a CHinese gf and we really want to get back together. Is it possible to change into Z visa without leaving if i can get an invitation from a company? If you are in China, you need to undergo health check at appointed hospitals and gain employment license from the labor and social security bureau. Here is a processing flowchat. It seems easy but you may not get it smoothly on your own. Then you can find an agency to deal with it.
