Hello,I am looking to rent an apartment in Chengdu for three months starting first week in January. I have a very good Chinese friend living there who will view any properties you have that would meet my basic needs. My needs are simple . See attached paper for details. Since is it a rather short rental I would prefer not to sign a lease and just sign some letter agreement stating terms and conditions. I have excellent personal references from USA and China too. My friend is the son of my ex-wife who is a well know school teacher in Chengdu. Both of them and some friends in South China can recommend meI would like to be able to complete booking the apartment as soon as possible. My friend, Min, can sign papers for me or I can sign them and fax them back to you. If you can send papers to me via email that would be great.I was visiting Chengdu last month as I was in China to take a tour of Tibet and Mt. Everest. I am looking to pay from 2000rmb to 3000rmb per month. With a short rental I can pay at least two months in advance after papers are signed.Wait to hear from you soon.
