Hi,
I'm tavelling to Jiangyou (about 60Km from Mianyang, Sichuan Province) this week, and I'm working there for a few weeks.
I've had a look at a few of the guides and through the posts, but there doesn't seem to be too much information on Northern Sichuan.
Does anybody have some good tips on places to go, places to eat in Jiangyou, and the best ways to travel about?
I get the weekends free, so I'll probably spend at least one in Chengdu.
Anyway, thanks for any help...

Aha, Jiangyou is the hometown of the famous poet Li Bai in Tang Dynasty.

Since Jiangyou is not very far from Chengdu, I suggest you to pay a visit there during the weekends to enjoy the lovely Pandas, you'll absolutely be captivated by them :)

Jiangyou is a samll city, the city is famous for being the hometown of Libai, one of the most well-known poets in ancient Tang dynasty.

The city is not far from the fairyland Jiuzhao Valley and Huanglong Valley, visiting there should be a must in your travel plan:)
