How can my son stay in China?
Apr 30, 2013 08:06
guestJonny I'll make it a short story?

I'm divorced, my ex is Filipino, my son's custody was granted to me and he lives with me in China. I will marry a girl in China.

So my question is IF someday I were to move from a Z visa (Resident Permit) to a Marriage Visiting visa, then what visa would my son be granted? Could he also get a visiting visa even though he isn't Chinese, he only apart of my marriage to a Chinese girl.

My worst fear is my son not being granted a visa to stay with us.. I'm sure I can't get him tourist visa's forever until he's 18 teen. That would be crazy.

Can anyone help us with an honest answer please?

GUEST20101 If you marry you will have a one year resident permit but you would still need a Z visa to work (legally)
