I am currently in Shenzhen on a F visa but will be switching to another company soon. But needs to apply for another F visa sponsored by my new employer. The question is am I able to apply for the new F visa while I'm still in China (I;ve got the Letter Of Invitation with me) Or do I have to go back to my home country Singapore and apply for the visa. Thanks in advance

Newbbie, Do you work on F visa on Shenzhen? I think it is illegal to do that. By the way, I think you may go to HK to apply for your new F type one.

GUEST20101 | To work legally you need a Z visa not an F visa. Only establishments registered by the Chinese government to employ foreigners can provide a Z visa. |

F visa is engaged as a consultant not employee

you will have to leave as the invitation is from another employer. Unless you manage to convince the person at the counter to do otherwise (which has happened), but I would not rely on that.
