Will I have to go back to my home country, USA, to get a Z visa? I'm currently teaching in Thailand, but I got accepted to teach in China in August.

I heard that the rules for visas changed now, which consequently confuses me on what to do.

GUEST54543 Since the new rules have been implemented just for nine days, many things are still unclear. I think you'd better contact the Chinese embassy in Thailand and see if you can get any response from them.
