Help needed: What to do in Sanya, Hainan?

guestVasily Hey all,

I'm sure a lot of you heve been in Sanya, Hainan:) My gf and I are going there in the late August, can you please share with us the best spots around Sanya, and what are must-see places in Hainan in general?
Any information is greatly appreciated, as we are trying to schedule a voyage and do not have much of experience:)

You can check Wikitravel, Tripadvisor, etc... for main places & attractions.

Most important thing is to choose which area to stay:

1) Sanya Bay (downtown, messy, beach is so-so)
2) DaDongHai (main tourist area, i prefer here, beach is okay)
3) Yalong Bay (away from city, 5-star hotels, nice beach, expensive)
