What to do in Guangzhou with 5 hours?

Any suggestions as to where can one go with 5 hours free time before the connecting flight to another province?

hello,
my suggestion is to go to the shopping mall which is famous in southern china in guangzhou. including Beijing Road and Shang xia jiu.

Yes, I agree. Shangxijiu is a good choice to view the traditional part of Guangzhou. you can also taste all the snacks there. Beijing Road is a little bit noisy. Or if it is early morning or late in the evening, you can try dimsum in any decent restaurant, the true essence of Guangzhou lifestyle and Cantonese cuisine.

hi thanks a lot for the suggestion. Is Shang Xia Jiu is far away from the airport? Cos we have only 5 hours to roam around before catching the connecting flight. How's the Guangzhou traffic?
