F visa expires soon but want to stay in China

guest44237	I am currently On an f visa which I was granted for a semester of Masters study. I have finished studying and now want to stay to find work in China. My visa expires on 1 September 2013. What are my options. I will not assume that I can find a job (and working visa) in the next 3 weeks so my options seem to be a tourist visa or extend my f visa. I have been studying Chinese language so perhaps I could choose a school that grants student visas. Any advice? Will I have to leave China for all of these options? I'm an Australian citizen. I've heard that tourist visa is valid for 6mths but you must leave every 30 day's. Is that true? Thanks!

GUEST6774	If you plan to work in China, you need to find an employer and ask him to support to apply for the Z visa. It is illegal for you to work in China without Z type visa. The L type one is usually with 30 days duration and valid for about 3 to 6 months.
