guest04220 Hi, i would like to inquire if i can still avail a spouse visa multiple entry for one year without taking a medical examination.

As what i'ved avail for past 5 years just an L visa 1 year with a multiple entry with no physical or medical examination been required. (yearly renewal)

I am married to a local chinese for more than 6 years and avail my marriage certificate in china. My current L visa is near to expire, i am a bit confuse if which one we need to follow as so many speculation about spouse visa. I am a philippine passport holder.
Thanks

GUEST5536 GUEST04220,

No one can give you exact answer for your question. The regulations related to the new visas will come into effect on September 1. We don't know how it will affect the visa application and extensions.

If you are in a hurry, I think you'd better go to the local PSB for consulation. I am just afraid that they may not know what to do.

GUEST17214 hi, how many times your husband did renew his visa (L visa) in previous?

They even haven't inform you what to do? or any documents need to submit or?....

Which city did your husband make an application for his renewal? When the application handled to the authority they will check the residence card permit of the local or chinese citizen if they are not born in the city in which their spouse made an application for their visa renewal to determine the length of the time of the said local chinese in that area.

Hope more feedback about spouse visa as well, as it is very confusing at the moment if what those procedures need to follow.

GUEST16238 Hi Tian,

How many times did your husband avail the visa in china in previous?

As for me i did avail the spouse visa in china last week, the reality the visa requirements for spouse is not so hard, if your applying it in your own hometown then more easy as you have your own documents to show that your a local in there. But if your applying it in other provinces like in shenzhen, its not so big deal in fact, they will just require you to present at least rmb 50000 bank deposit under your spouse account or you have a property in order to get 6 months multiple visa, but if you can't present any they will give you still 3 months visa. and their advise is if you want longer visa then better to apply to your own hometown, i really don't understand why it happened to your spouse that they refuse to provide the visa for him.
