The Chamber will offer opportunities for interns to gain insight in the areas of leadership, project management, communications, marketing, sales, customer service and event management. About the CanCham Shanghai : The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is the only locally-based independent non-profit Canadian business organization and has been serving the Canadian business community in China since 1996. Being a Canadian business organization, CanCham Shanghai seeks to present a truly Canadian image to the world by integrating Canadian values into its organizational culture, including responsible leadership, open communication, mutual respect amongst team members, accountability, team play etc. Areas of Work and Specific Responsibilities • Event Management: Provide administrative and organizational support, including venue search, handling inquiries and attendance management • Media and Communications: Marketing, website maintenance, graphic design, etc… Educational Requirement The candidates must have an undergraduate degree or above to apply for the intern position. Linguistic Requirement • The candidate must be fluent in at least 2 out of 3 of these languages: French , English or Mandarin Computer Skills • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Website, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus Prior Community Service : Candidates with prior volunteer experience will be given preference for consideration.
