[Changsha] English lessons 1/2H every saturday mor.

guestSylvain Hello,

My wife (not living in China) and her family (living in China) are starting a new school in Ningxiang, a big city near Changsha.

We are searching for a foreign English Teacher to give lessons every saturday morning (2 hours).
It can be more if we get "bigger", we also have many contacts with others schools, if you wish for more hours.
You don't necessarily need to be a native speaker but your accent needs to be good.
Students will be from 6 to 12 years old.

Salary will be 130 RMB per hour, it is negotiable
Transportation costs (bus, taxi...) at our charge if you will be coming from Changsha.
So this is a perfect opportunity for an already teacher who wants to make some "extra" !

We offer a more relaxed environment than most schools, with fewer students.
A good quality teaching where children really improve their english skill is what we aim for, with less than 20 students per class.

In Ningxiang, children are extremely enthusiastic when they have a foreign teacher, you will have motivated students for sure

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any question.

GUESTSAM Hi there!

My wife and I have just read your advertisement. We are both from Preston in England and have been learning chinese mandarin for a number of years.

The job you mentioned sounds great! We would really like to hear more about it if that's ok.
If there is still a vacancy or if in the future any other vacancies arise please let us know!

We have just visited Hunan Changsha for one month! We really enjoyed it and would love to come and teach English!

Thank you in advance

GUEST29582 Your pay per hour is far below the average pay per hour in this location for an oral teacher. Secondly if you offer just two hours for someone to travel from Changsha, the person whou would eventually take this 2 hours job would have to be either totally stupid or some newcomer not knowing about the pay scale at all.

For your information the local average pay per hour is around 200 and up per one hour. If it is just one or two hours per a day then you would have to offer something like 250-300 per hour to compensate for too much hassle travelling per one single or two hours of teaching. If not you will find quite hard to find someone if any..

Sorry I am just being frank and professional.

I am working in Changsha since 2013 and know the local working market quite well.
