Guangzhou to Shanghai with a pet

Hello everyone, in flying Into Guangzhou with my little dog to avoid the quarantine in Shanghai. Any idea if pets are allowed on the high speed trains? Or should I book a one way ticket on another plane To Shanghai? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you so much.

Sorry, pets are not allowed to be taken on the high speed train. You need to consign your pet at the railway station. Remeber to put it in the special cage.

Thank you so much for that information. I'll be flying into Shanghai. I don't trust anybody with my baby-dog!
