guestreg im applying for a chinese tourist visa,but I have a criminal record from 26 years ago for supply(less than a pound)I was given a four month sentence but was released after 6 weeks on home detention.would that conviction still be on file or would it have been removed?if it still stand,will it stop them from giving me my visa...people have said after so long it wouldn't affect my visa..please help,so confused...

GUEST65832 If you check the post in this forum, many people suggest that the applicants with criminal record should check NO on the application form. Most of them will get their visa finally. If you are honest and check Yes, you might make some troubles for yourself.

But 26 years is a long time to carry a burden, so you can do what is suggested above.
