new rules tourist visa?

guest21696 Hi, I have a question. I just got turned down to apply for the tourist visa. They said because i Have three visas from some time ago in my passport that I now need an invitation letter from a resident in China. Hotelbookings are not enough anymore. They said its part of the new rules. Anybody heard about this? Its kinda crazy idea, basically they are saying, oh you have been too often too china please don’t come anymore?

If i do get an invitation, I have to write down on the visa form I will yes staying at his place my entire stay?

GUEST54670 There is nothing that have been changed on the required documents on L. Both invitation letter or hotel booking and round-trip air tickets work. If you can't provide the invitaiton letter, you should provide your round-trip air tickets and hotel booking. It doesn't work if you just have hotel booking.

I don't if the embassy in your country have their own requirements. It seems that they just recognize the invitation letter.

GUEST13426 I also presented flight tickets in and out of the country with 23 days. They still said because of new rules and my previous visas they dont accept my application. Oh this was in the Netherlands

GUEST8083 Someone once suggests that people like you might get a new passport and apply in another place might get their visas. I don't know if this works. But you might give it a try.
