places to stay in beijing

Hi, I am heading up to Beijing in a week or so and am wondering if anyone can reccomend a budget place to stay that is close to public transport. I don't want bottom of the budget barrel but something clean and basic. Thanks for any help!

Its situated at Zhongguancun Area ;No.6 Southern Road Capital Gym, Haidian District , 100044
and its prices range from $75 to $281.

Too expensive??

Goodness. Some people don't seem to comprehend the concept of "budget".
Are you wanting a dorm bed or private room? Hostel or hotel?

It is easy to me because I am working in Beijing and familiar with budget hotel or hostel. The price is about from RMB 200 to RMB 350 depending on the hotel location and the room standard. The room is absolute clean & comfortable and internet is free.

You could try the Home Inn, 7 Days , or the hostels around the universities.
